Table tennis

General rules

• Table tennis is an individual competition

• Games are held indoors

• Women and men don’t participate in the same competition

• Each company may enter an unlimited number of competitors

• Each participant should bring her/his own racquet

•  ITTF rules are applied

• A game shall be won by the player first scoring 11 points unless both players score 10 points each. In this case the game shall be won by the first player subsequently gaining a lead of 2 points

• Match shall consist of 2 won games

• The right to choose the initial order of serving shall be decided by lot and the winner may choose either to serve or to start playing at a particular end

• After 2 points have been scored by each player, players are serving by turns until the end of the set. If both players score 10 points, they will be serving by turns

• Player who served first in the set, receives the first in the next set of the match

• After each set players change sides. In the third (deciding) set, players change sides when the first one scores 5 points

• Balls: with a diameters of 4 cm,  to be provided by organizers

Competition:

• Quarterfinals and semifinals: in the accordance with schedule

• Third place standing: defeated in semifinal matches

• Finals: winners in semifinal matches

• All the points scored in the Table tennis tournament will be counted towards the general ranking (1^st place is 4 points, 2^nd place is 3 points, 3^rd place is 2 points, 4^th place is 1 point)
